They have been keeping the mining industry safe since 2001.
The Challenge
Digitise a paper-based assessment system to bring productivity gains to the company.
The Details
Skillpro uses a legacy application to create and fill out reports and provide certificates of safety to mining companies.
Currently Back Office staff use the application to create a form, print it out and then provide it to the technicians.
The Technicians go on site, fill out the form with pen and then return it to Back Office.
Staff then fill in the report in the application and create a certificate to provide to the client.
This causes a lot of extra unnecessary administration work.
As the application is bespoke, they wanted to keep it but streamline the process.
EXXA worked with Skillpro to provide a solution that would allow technicians to provide responses digitally.
Using Azure Virtual Desktop, the application is published and available on any device.
Technicians use their Microsoft 365 logins to access the application on their phones and tablets.
This is secured with Microsoft Defender and best in class encryption.
Technicians can now complete the majority of the process on site without paper forms. This cuts down on administration for back office staff and helps increase accuracy.
Outcomes
Technicians can work on site using their devices rather than filling out paper forms.
Back Office staff get much needed time back to bring productivity gains for the company.
